I don’t know ANYbody who dropped out of UT Medical School because they got married. A woman in my wife-to-be’s class even had two kids to raise by herself while in med school and managed to graduate. Many women quit work to raise kids, and many don’t. A man who leans on his wife to quit work ought to reap what he sows; but some just acquiesce and may not even have the right to refuse.
